Jingle All the Way

Move your feet to the jingling beat this December with the 15th annual Emerald Coast Jingle Bell Walk/Run, benefiting the Arthritis Foundation.

On Saturday, Dec. 2, hundreds of Emerald Coast residents will join thousands of people across the nation in this holiday event to raise much-needed funds for arthritis awareness and research. Each participant is invited to tie jingle bells to his or her shoelaces and wear a festive costume for the 5K run and walk, which begins at the Landing on Brooks Street in Fort Walton Beach.

Registration begins at 8 a.m. on Dec. 2, and the event officially starts at 9 a.m. Participants will receive a T-shirt and goodie bag and will be invited to enjoy food, live entertainment and contests afterward.

The Arthritis Foundation’s mission is to prevent, control and cure arthritis and related diseases. The annual walk/run helps the organization’s Florida chapter focus on this mission for the residents of our area.
