A second location to Grayton Beach’s original neighborhood bakery and all-day seasonal café serving Stumptown Coffee Roasters is now open at Hyatt Place Sandestin at Grand Boulevard.

Located at 325 Grand Blvd., Suite 100 on the main street side corner of the hotel, Black Bear Grand Boulevard offers new exclusive menu items along with the restaurant’s signature favorites found at their original Grayton Beach location. Black Bear Grand Boulevard opened its doors quietly with a soft opening last summer and has been warmly received by the local community of Sandestin, Miramar Beach and Destin, many of whom formerly made the trek to Grayton Beach.

Black Bear Grand Boulevard features new Asian-inspired menu items that are only offered at the Miramar Beach-based café. Menu additions include the ‘Banh Mi’ with braised pork shoulder, pickled carrot, daikon, cilantro, and sambal aioli, served on Black Bear’s daily baked house baguette, and the ‘Soba Noodle Bowl’ with braised pork shoulder, local greens, carrot, and sunny egg.

“It’s a crazy time to have opened our doors during a pandemic, but we are happy to report that we have been getting fantastic reviews from our customers at Grand Boulevard, and we are building a solid following on this side of town,” said Phil McDonald, Black Bear Bread Co. executive chef and co-owner. “Our culinary team is dishing out
some fresh, clean Asian flavors that are a nice complement to our traditional menu staples.”

The menu and daily specials at Black Bear Grand Boulevard are ever-changing and feature offerings based on seasonality from local farmers and artisans. Black Bear regulars can still enjoy their go-to menu favorites also offered at the company’s Grayton Beach café and retail bakery.

All of Black Bear’s artisan breads and pastries are baked from scratch each morning at their wholesale bakery in Grayton and are transported freshly-baked daily to Grand Boulevard. A full selection of Stumptown Coffee offerings,
along with a thoughtfully curated selection of canned craft beers and natural wines make up the beverage offerings.

“Locally-owned Black Bear Bread Company offers fantastic breakfast, lunch and bakery selections. Additionally, it’s the ideal spot for coffee and meetings. It’s become the “go to” place for locals and visitors to our area,” said Stacey Brady, Grand Boulevard’s marketing and communications director.

Black Bear Grand Boulevard is open daily from 7:00am – 3:00pm.
