In an effort to raise awareness of melanoma and other types of skin cancer, and to encourage early detection through self-exams, the American Academy of Dermatology has designated the first Monday in May as Melanoma Monday®. Coastal Skin Surgery & Dermatology is pleased to support this initiative with the AAD and invites the public to join us at one of our four locations for our 6th Annual Free Skin Cancer Screening Event from 1 p.m.- 4 p.m.

“It’s free of charge. It’s simple and easy. Just bring your skin and a smile,” said Dr. David C. Adams.

On May 1, all four Coastal Skin Surgery & Dermatology locations will participate in the Melanoma Monday Event. Past Melanoma Monday events have allowed Coastal Skin Surgery & Dermatology's Board Certified Dermatologists to perform skin checks for more than 500 people throughout the community.

Locations are: Miramar Beach Office, 12469 Emerald Coast Pkwy, Suite 101; Niceville/Bluewater Office, 4400 Highway 20, Suite 410; Fort Walton Beach Office, 914 Mar Walt Drive, Suite A; Panama City Beach Office, 12139 Panama City Beach Pkwy.

“The service and the staff were excellent,” explained a patient. “Extremely friendly, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.”

Coastal Skin Surgery & Dermatology provides a broad variety of surgical, medical, and cosmetic dermatological services as well as skin care products and services to the residents and visitors of Florida’s Emerald Coast. For more information, visit www.coastalskinsurgery.com
