Walmart and Sam’s Club stores along the Gulf Coast are joining forces to raise money for Studer Family Children’s Hospital during the annual Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals campaign.

Over the past 30 years, Walmart and Sam’s Club stores have helped raise nearly $6 million for Studer Family Children’s Hospital. On a national level, Walmart and Sam’s Club have raised more than $1 billion for CMN Hospitals; the largest cash amount ever raised by one company for a nonprofit in North America.

Last year’s campaign raised over $250,000 for Studer Family Children’s Hospital.

Customers and members can donate $1 or more when they check out at any Gulf Coast Walmart or Sam’s Club store. Associates also fundraise with bake sales, in-store contests and events.

This year’s campaign runs through July 7.

Money raised at local Walmart and Sam’s Club stores goes directly to benefit the sick and injured kids treated at Studer Family Children’s Hospital. Funds are used to pay for equipment, research, supplies, charitable care and a variety of other needs the hospital has.

Customers can help spread the word about the campaign on social media using the hashtag #HelpKidsLiveBetter.
