ALMOST ABBA
APRIL 3
The No. 1 ABBA tribute band is coming to Mattie Kelly Arts Center. Almost ABBA recreates the spirit of ABBA in a costumed, choreographed, and interactive experience. The four-piece has performed for the U.S. military, as an opening act for Cher, and for the release of Mamma Mia. Their sound-alike performance and top-notch musicianship lives up to their name.

APRIL 3-4
Spend the weekend tasting craft beer, wine, and spirits while sampling cuisine from renowned area chefs and local eateries. At its heart, UNwineD is a stylish garden party that showcases the best of the region. Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation Concerts in the Village

Thursday evenings in the spring, Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation presents the thirtieth annual 10-concert live music series. Opening night on April 9 features Smash Mouth, kicking off this milestone season in celebratory style. The exciting lineup includes Black Jacket Symphony: The Music of Van Halen; Yacht Rock Revue; Rumours ATL; Brass Transit: The Music of Chicago; Turnstiles: The Music of Billy Joel; Boogie Wonder Band; The Molly Ringwalds; The Return: A Beatles Tribute; and A1A: The Official Jimmy Buffett Tribute Band. Bring a blanket or chair and enjoy dinner al fresco from local restaurants and food trucks.
Tickets are $40 (including ticketing fee). Doors open at 6 p.m. and concerts start at 7 p.m. MKAF members enjoy early admission and attend for free. Twenty-Sixth Annual Tallahassee Tennis Challenger

The 26th annual Challenger event in Tallahassee will begin with qualifying round play on April 12 at the Forestmeadows Tennis Center. Main draw play will take place April 12–19. ATP Professional Men’s Tennis Players ranked 100-300s in the world compete for a $107,000 purse and ATP world ranking points in singles and doubles tournaments.

DEFUNIAK SPRINGS SPRINT TRIATHLON

The DeFuniak Springs Sprint Triathlon will take place Saturday, May 2, beginning at 7 a.m. The sprint triathlon will start with a 600-meter swim in the famous DeFuniak Lake, followed by a 16-mile bike ride into the scenic countryside, and finishing with a 5k around the lake through a historic district lined with Victorian-style homes.
