Grand Boulevard Welcomes Fall with Bounty of Events

Leaves may be changing and falling, but a complete roster of autumn events are cropping up at the Grand Boulevard Town Center.

Every Wednesday in October, complimentary fitness classes will be hosted in Grand Park. Both a 9:30 a.m. and a 5:00 p.m. option will be available with a variety of class styles presented by Grand Fitness. Each class is free and open to the public.

October kicks off with the Children’s Volunteer Health Network “Sounds with Soul” Benefit Concert on Oct. 6 from 5:30–9 p.m. in Grand Park. Groove and move to the Tip Tops, a high energy show band, hosted by Grand Boulevard and Tommy Bahama Restaurant. This family-friendly event is free and open to the public.

Celebrate and congratulate the over 150 businesses and service providers who are winners of the Best of the Emerald Coast awards at the Best of the Emerald Coast Winner’s Soirée on Thursday, Oct. 12, from 6–9 p.m. This intimate evening will enliven the five senses through visual arts, live music, creative cuisine and crafted libations. The ticketed event benefits the Emerald Coast Autism Center.

Barktoberfest includes treats and tail-wagging good times. On Oct. 26 from 4:30–6:30 p.m. bring your furry friends to a spooky social benefiting Dog-Harmony, a nonprofit charity dedicated to reducing the shelter dog population. The event will feature a costume contest, music, light bites and beer. Costume contest winners will be announced at 6:15 p.m.

Come all ghouls and ghosts for a fun and safe Halloween on the BOOlevard on Tuesday, Oct. 31, from 4–6 p.m. Stroll the Boulevard trick-or-treating with Grand Boulevard merchants. This frightfully fun event encourages attendees to get creative in their bewitching, best costumes.

Eat your fill of smoked and grilled delicacies at the 30A BBQ Festival on Nov. 3 from 5:30–9 p.m. This family-friendly evening is a fundraising event for the nonprofit The Sonder Project. Local businesses will serve up barbecue samples to compete for Best BBQ voted on by attendees. Besides all you can eat barbecue, this ticketed event includes beverages, a silent auction and live music.
