Emerald Coast Theatre Company Hosts Virtual Talent Show
Whatever your talent may be, Emerald Coast Theatre Company wants to see it
Do you love to sing? Can you play an instrument? Maybe you’ve had some extra time to choreograph a dance or write a short play. Whatever your talent may be, Emerald Coast Theatre Company wants to see it. To be honest, we all do!
ECTC is presenting a virtual talent show that will broadcast on Facebook Live on April 25 at 7 p.m. Get your cameras rolling as you have from now until April 20 to submit your video. Judging will take place from April 21–24.
Show the judges what crazy, cool and creative talents you have hidden up your sleeves. All participants will have the chance to win a prize in your category and the opportunity to win Best Overall, Most Creative and the People’s Choice Award.
Categories include:
- Group/Family/Business: Get the family, group, or your roommate/quarantined pals together and have some fun!
- Sassy Seniors (65 and up): We know you’ve got talent no matter your age, show the kids how to do it!
- Talent Pre-K–Grade 5: Let the kids be creative — roll the camera and see what happens!
- Talent Grades 6–12: Shine like the stars you are!
- Talent Adult: Come on, show us your best Tiger King impression!
Guidelines include:
- Record your fun selves being awesome on video — 2 minutes or less.
- Keep it PG please, it’s a family show.
- Send the link of your YouTube* video to phillip@emeraldcoasttheatre.org. Be sure to name your video and include #ECTCVirtualTalentShow, in the description include which category you want to be considered for and this text: #ECTCVirtualTalentShow Support Emerald Coast Theatre by donating at EmeraldCoastTheatre.org/support.
Prizes include: gift cards from Grand Boulevard merchants, ECTC logo T-shirts, wine from Vin’tij Food and Wine Bar, brews from Grayton Beer and toilet paper!
