Coastal Caroline
CC.Boone brand epitomizes Emerald Coast living

To Caroline Mowry, every detail matters—from the way golden hour alights a glass of white wine on a tablescape to how a crisp, white linen shirt effortlessly drapes across the body.
When your business revolves around creating memorable moments, the atmosphere, the styling, the most seemingly miniscule elements can make all the difference.
Caroline Mowry is the CEO and founder of CC.Boone, a business that creates après beach experiences including beach bonfires, private dining, bridal events, photo styling, and more. If you have an intimate event occurring on the Emerald Coast, Mowry can plan and execute all the details down to styling your outfit from her CC.Boone vintage clothing line.
Her business stems from the desire to connect people through beautiful moments.
Mowry studied hospitality management at the University of Arkansas, then went on to be an editorial stylist working alongside local, national, and international brands to bring their vision to fruition in innovative, intriguing ways. All the while, she was dreaming up her own company in a coastal town.
In 2018, she began her event planning business which revolved around her curated charcuterie boards served at beach bonfires, intimate parties, wedding-related events, baby showers, and more.
As she gained business and connections, this expanded to include larger events, such as wedding dinners, private party dinners, bridal brunches, and more with floral design, styling, and photography as add-on options.
To Mowry, the Emerald Coast merges ease with energy. She wants each person who attends a gathering she’s designed to feel comfortable and taken care of while also invigorated by the people, the place, and the party.
“The Emerald Coast lifestyle is one of freedom,” Mowry says. “You can be anyone and start anything you dream of here. Life truly does feel like a vacation on most days. This is what I want people to experience through CC.Boone, whether it be through a tangible item or through one of our culinary and coastal offerings.”
Mowry adheres to maintaining a work-life balance that tips between work and play. A day in her life typically includes waking up to the birds chirping sans alarm, enjoying a coffee she makes at home, a walk on the beach, and flipping through coffee table books or magazines for inspiration before pouring that creative energy into her business for a few hours. Days end with dinner al fresco around a fire with wine in hand. Each morning, she wakes up choosing to create her ideal day.
Whether in a breezy linen while working or cozied up in a chunky knit on the beach, Mowry believes in the staying power of a white shirt. Her vintage line specializes in the sale of them.
She describes her go-to outfit as a white top and a good pair of worn Levi’s alongside her signature accessories—kitten heels, gold jewelry, and a party pony.
“My love for fashion began when I was very young,” Mowry says. “I remember renting W Magazines from the library and dreaming about the day I would become ‘a fashion intern.’ When I was little, I thought that was a real job title. I just knew I wanted to be in and around the fashion world.”
Surrounded by fast fashion culture, Mowry leans toward thrift shop finds for the quality of the items. What she doesn’t keep for herself, she sells in her online vintage clothing shop. If she’s making a new purchase, she gravitates toward the brands Doên, Cult Gaia, and Vita Kin.
Some of her favorite pieces in her closet include two silk skirts in black and champagne colors from Silk Laundry, her vintage furs, New Balance 993s, and Ray Ban aviators.
“Anyone can buy the trends, but developing a personal style is lifelong,” Mowry says. “It’s a way of telling the world how well you know yourself. Living in your authenticity is first about feeling comfortable in your clothes and then rocking it.”
Mowry describes her style as classic, distinguished, and collected. Her emphasis on a white, cream, neutral color palette, quality gold jewelry, clean lines, and clothing craftsmanship exudes the laid-back luxury often associated with coastal living.
From styling an outfit to planning an intimate dinner party, she not only creates a beautiful life for herself but also for others.
