In a spontaneous stroke of inspiration, McCaskill & Company, a beloved fine jewelry destination on Florida’s Emerald Coast, is doubling down—literally. Known for showcasing top designers like Erica Courtney, Kwiat, and Marco Bicego, this iconic gallery is expanding with a new addition that enhances both its aesthetics and functionality. Slated for completion in September 2025, the expansion promises an elevated experience with increased parking and more space to display their collections.

The journey of McCaskill & Company began over 25 years ago when founders Bill and Elizabeth Campbell envisioned a space in Destin that felt like home. Today, the family-run business, joined by their daughter, Carolyn Brigman, is a haven for jewelry aficionados. Named one of America’s “Best Jewelry and Watch Retailers” by Harper’s Bazaar, McCaskill & Company consistently receives accolades such as “Best of the Emerald Coast” for its inviting atmosphere, customer service, and exquisite collections.

Limited parking and crowded showrooms often left customers struggling to fully enjoy the gallery’s offerings. “It’s just wonderful to have more room now to better showcase our designers,” says Elizabeth Campbell. “With the expansion, our customers can enjoy a more relaxed and elegant atmosphere, with spaces carefully designed for ease of movement and enjoyment.”

The expansion includes 50 parking spots—a significant increase that adds convenience to both daily shoppers and guests attending year-round events. Architect Cherri Pitts of Studio C Architecture and designer Richard Tubb have crafted a look that blends seamlessly with the gallery’s current elegant style, while infusing a bright, chic contemporary flair.

Inside, visitors will be greeted by a grand foyer adorned with a cascading display of glass maple leaves that leads to a glowing alabaster wall bearing the McCaskill & Co. crest. At the heart of the expansion, the gallery’s status as an Authorized Rolex Jeweler and Service Center will be reinforced with a dedicated Rolex boutique. “Our customers can now watch our expert watchmakers in action, which adds a new dimension to the experience,” explains Campbell.

The David Yurman collection will expand into a dedicated space, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the brand’s artistry. The Bridal Gallery, renowned for its stunning engagement rings and wedding jewelry, will be relocated to the west side, creating a better showcase for both established and new designers. A new entertainment area and additional plush seating enhance the atmosphere, encouraging guests to relax and fully enjoy the experience. “We are very excited as our expanded vision for a more elevated and enjoyable, relaxed atmosphere comes to life,” says Carolyn Brigman, vice president. “This expansion allows our guests to truly ‘live with the jewelry’—to take their time, explore, and appreciate each piece and the stories behind them.”

McCaskill & Company remains a jewel of the Emerald Coast, where elegance meets the warmth of family tradition. With the expansion on track, this renowned gallery is set to continue enchanting visitors and celebrating life’s finest moments in style.
