A Creative Journey Awaits in Alys Beach

Feeling crafty? From November 13-17, Alys Beach on 30A will transform into a hub of culinary and creative craftsmanship for Crafted 2024, a five-day event packed with curated experiences, workshops, and tastings. Perfect for adventurous foodies and craft enthusiasts alike, this event will showcase the best of culinary innovation and artisanal creations, all set against the stunning backdrop of the Gulf Coast.
A Week of Artistry and Flavor
The event kicks off on November 13 with Emerald Coast Storytellers Campfire Stories, where tales of food, craft, and community unfold around a cozy firepit. This sets the stage for a week of interactive dining and cocktail experiences, where guests can explore innovative flavors and techniques.
On November 14, the spotlight shifts to La Dolce Vita, an Italian-inspired dinner led by renowned chefs and mixologists at the Red Loggia at Caliza. Simultaneously, the Garden to Table dinner at Raw & Juicy will showcase fresh, local ingredients in a farm-to-table experience. For those craving coastal flavors, Savor the Coast at Papilio Park will offer a tasting journey featuring fresh seafood paired with a variety of agave spirits.
Sip, Savor, and Shop
Starting on November 15, the Holiday Makers Market opens in the Alys Beach Amphitheatre, which is a free experience that is open to the public. Here, guests can shop unique handmade goods from talented artisans while enjoying live music. The market will continue through the weekend, making it the perfect spot to find holiday gifts that tell the stories of the local craftspeople. Take a keepsake photo with Santa to celebrate the spirit of the season.
For cocktail aficionados, the Spirited Seminar on November 15 offers a hands-on experience in mixology. Experts from Boat Drinks Bar and Singani 63 will guide attendees through crafting cocktails with accessible ingredients from their own home bars. That same evening, the highly anticipated Firkin Fête takes over Central Park, offering a tasting experience featuring unique brews from local and regional breweries.
Crafting Creativity
Saturday, November 16, brings a mix of creativity and cocktails. The Be the Maker workshops, led by Laura Patrick of Lello Co., invite guests to unleash their inner artists through hands-on painting and ornament crafting. Later that afternoon, mixologists from around the country will present their best creations at the Spirited Soirée, an event where guests can taste craft cocktails and learn from the masters behind the bar.
A Playful Finale
The event wraps up on November 17 with the inaugural Pickleball & Picklebacks at ZUMA Wellness Center. This lighthearted combination of pickleball games and pickleback shots promises a fun, laid-back atmosphere to close out the week. Brunch will be served as guests compete or cheer from the sidelines, celebrating the spirit of play and community.
