Countless businesses along the Emerald Coast help bring about the outstanding quality of life that residents and visitors enjoy here. They make us smile, put our minds at ease, fix what isn’t working and make us feel appreciated when they call us by name. Small businesses are an essential part of the fabric of our communities. Each year, we give readers of Emerald Coast Magazine an opportunity to cast votes in support of those businesses that they consider, based on their experience, to be the best of the best. And then we give winners the recognition they so richly deserve at an event conducted in their honor. Fittingly, the businesses, themselves, are the stars of the show. Our 2016 Best of the Emerald Coast winners gathered on Saturday, Oct. 22, at 6 p.m. at Grand Boulevard at Sandestin and displayed their award-winning products and services.
